by Sec, Race, & Hispanic Origins, Annual Survey of Manufactures, Building
Permits, and Consolidated Federal Funds Reports.
The Bureau of the Census collected information in the Census of Religious Bodies from 1906-1936. Religious affliation is no longer asked on the Census form and other sources must be sought for data.

The primary sources for this report are the U.S. Census Bureau’s Population Estimates Program, the Current Population Survey
(CPS), the American Community Survey (ACS), the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP), and
the American Housing Survey (AHS). Data for the United States cover the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
